Specific responsibilities include strategic planning, institutional assessment, institutional research, and accreditation.

Strategic Planning

The Strategic Planning process includes opportunity for contributions from all members of the RVU community on an ongoing basis. The RVU Strategic Plan is comprised of five key areas of effectiveness that guide and support the achievement of our vision and mission objectives:

RVU Mission, Vision, and Values

  • Three Strategic Initiatives: Leadership, Growth and Expansion, and Academics
    • Ten Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that sync to the Strategic Initiatives: Fiscal Management, External and Public Relations, Organizational Effectiveness and Communication, Risk Management, Infrastructure, Enrollment Growth, GME Growth, Investment Growth, New Program Development, and Staff Training and Development
    • Twenty-three Operational Goals linked to each KPI listed above
Academic and Operational Departmental Plans that address the Strategic Initiatives, KPIs, and Operational Goals listed above

RVU is committed to the success of each student and the IPA Office supports this commitment by establishing performance indicators, measuring outcomes, and reporting back to key decision-makers in order to make improvements to the curriculum, instruction, and infrastructure of the University.
