Biographical Information


Fernando Gomez, MD, immigrated to the United States at a young age and was raised in the Detroit area. Having served many years as a Deputy Medical Examiner, Dr. Gomez brings to RVU his delightful personal­ity and extensive clinical back­ground in Internal Medicine and Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, including forensic pathology. Dr. Gomez received his undergraduate and medical de­grees from Wayne State University and has 26 years of experience in medicine having practiced in Michigan and Florida. In addition to this clinical background, Dr. Gomez has been devoted to medical education at NOVA Southeastern, the American University of the Caribbean, and Florida Atlantic University.
