Originally from New York, Lynne received both a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and a Master of Education degree from State University College at Oneonta, New York. For 20 years Lynne taught third or fourth grade in Roxbury, New York and Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. After making the difficult decision to leave teaching to join the family business, Lynne owned an award-winning design-build company with her husband, Mark. During that time, she earned certifications in kitchen and bath design and remodeling. Now at RVU, Lynne is excited to be working once again in an academic environment with dedicated faculty, staff and students.
