Biographical Information


Dr. Henderson made the move to the Beehive State from Harrogate, Tennessee and has also lived in Georgia, North Carolina, Arizona and Oregon. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Northern Arizona University and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from East Carolina University.

“I love teaching and building relationships with others. The best part of being in medical education is that I get to watch students fall in love with medicine.” Prior to RVU, she was an Associate Professor at Lincoln Memorial University – DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine and an IRACDA Postdoctoral Fellow at Emory University.

When she is not at work, Dr. Henderson loves spending time with her two young children.
