Biographical Information
Tina Underwood is the Director of Clinical Assessment and Simulation. She is a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder with a Master’s in Education and a Bachelor’s in Ethnic Studies. She taught social studies in public schools for several years before returning to an interest in health care. Working at Rocky Vista University is a great combination for expanding her understanding of health care as well as being part of educating emerging physicians. She is a member of the Society for Simulation in Healthcare and the Association of Standardized Patient Educators and continues to expand her professional development in the use of simulation technology and the use of simulated patients as educational tools in the health care arena.
