Topping Out Ceremony – For New Utah Location

Greeting from somewhat chilly (but, at least, not snowy) Ivins, Utah.  This morning, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to witness the Topping Out Ceremony for our new location in Utah.  The ceremony signifies the last beam being hoisted into place on our new building in Ivins. The beam was signed by many of the people who played a part in the construction, design, and development of the campus to date.  This includes representatives from Shaw Construction, OZ architects, Ivins City Council, and RVU personnel.  The signed beam will be visible on the ceiling of the library.   Great progress is being made both on the new building and also on the new apartments that will serve as student housing.

I encourage you to follow the progress of the construction on the live feed on our website.  This is RVU history in the making!
