Alexandra Moody, OMS I

Class of 2023

Why did you choose RVUCOM?
When I interviewed here I found the students and faculty to be very welcoming and fun. I also like the location. There are so many things to do outside, and it’s not too far from home.

What do you like most about RVUCOM?
It is a very inclusive and collaborative environment. And the scenery is beautiful.

What do you do in your spare time?
Hiking, rock climbing, skiing, spending time with friends, and traveling.

What do you appreciate most about Utah and the local area?
We have everything from red rock desert to shear alpine mountains, and there are National Parks everywhere. There is a lot to explore and it’s all reasonably close by.

What are your medical interests?
I am very interested in Surgery. I have loved my exposure to reconstructive plastic surgery, but we will see what happens.

Fun facts about you:
I have summited Mt. Kilimanjaro, and I used to do ballet.

What advice do you have for first year students?
Find what works for you, and make time for the things you love to do.
