RVU has a mandatory orientation for incoming students the week before school starts. The week is packed with information, instruction, and experiential learning activities designed to prepare the students to “hit the ground running” with the course of their first system. Social networking is also a valuable component of Orientation and is accomplished in a wide variety of ways (e.g. a student social, a service project, a family picnic) to name a few.
