CLASS OF 2024 WHITE COAT CEREMONY

Dr. Park and I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to attend a Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine first.  We are, of course, speaking of the very first combined-campus Virtual White Coat Ceremony in our school’s history on August 29, 2020. Just as graduation is the right of passage for seniors into residency, the White Coat Ceremony is an inauguration of new medical students into the life-long process of becoming an esteemed osteopathic physician. Established by Dr. Arnold P. Gold as a way to commit young emerging physicians to the tenets of the profession (such as altruism, compassion, and duty to patients), the ceremony has become a tradition at most medical schools throughout the nation and the world. We invite your family and friends to join you in donning the White Coat, which is a gesture to all of your commitment of life-long service to humanity. We expect everyone in the Class of 2024 on both campuses to attend and we want to assure you that the experience will be a memorable one.
