Jill Pitcher, DO, grew up in Loveland, Colorado and attended Colorado State University studying Human Resource Science and Human Nutrition, graduating in 1983. She attended medical school in Pomona, California at the Western University of Health Science Osteopathic College, graduating in 1988. She came back to Denver for her residency in Osteopathic Family Medicine, finishing in 1991.
Dr. Pitcher has earned three board certifications: Osteopathic Family Medicine, Holistic Medicine, and Correctional Medicine. Since 1991, she has enjoyed practice experience in family medicine, correctional medicine and an integrative office specializing in chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia. She was also a faculty member in the Denver Osteopathic Family Medicine Residency for several years. Dr. Pitcher has enjoyed writing articles on various topics and giving lectures for public as well as professional conferences. Joining RVU has been the perfect marriage of medicine and teaching as a profession while maintaining a part-time clinical practice in an urgent care setting.

She is a Past President and continuing member of the Denver Osteopathic Foundation (DOF), 2014-2015 Past President of the Colorado Society of Osteopathic Medicine (CSOM) and continues as a Board of Trustee, and 2016-2017 President of the Colorado Chapter of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians (ACOFP).
