Jennifer Williams, PhD, Appointed Vice President for Institutional Effectiveness at RVU

[Jan 11, 2017] Rocky Vista University (RVU) is pleased to announce the appointment of Jennifer Williams, PhD, as Vice President for Institutional Effectiveness.

“This position is responsible for the oversight of our accreditation processes at the program level and the overall University,” said Clinton E. Adams, DO, FACHE, President and CEO of RVU. “I believe the significant contribution [by Dr. Williams] is leadership in creating a comprehensive institutional research and assessment program, [as well as] developing and measuring outcomes to document our academic success and opportunities for improvement. Her outstanding record of achievement since joining the RVU administration speaks for itself.”

Dr. Williams joined the staff of Rocky Vista University in 2014 as Executive Director of Institutional Planning and Assessment. Since then, she has guided the successful launch of the Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences (MSBS), conducted feasibility and market analyses for new programs, and is creating new systems and processes for assessment and quality improvement.

Dr. Williams received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from University of Northern Colorado and a Master of Arts degree in Higher Education Administration. She then earned Doctor of Philosophy degree in Higher Education Leadership and Organizational Change from University of Denver. She has previously held positions at Lamar Community College, Colorado Mountain College, Regis University, and University of Denver.
