Jeddie has been at RVU since September 2021. She loves the outdoors and has really been enjoying exploring Southern Utah (recommendations are welcomed). Jeddie also loves athletics, so on the weekend if she isn't lost in the mountains you might catch her at the pickleball or basketball courts breaking ankles. She loves talking with students so feel free to drop in (she always has candy). Watching students get excited about their careers is one part of the job she is most excited about.

Dr. Madison Tarleton has been working in higher education for the last decade. She’s worked in numerous roles and departments including teaching, research, and recreation. She began working at RVU in 2022 and completed her PhD at the University of Denver in 2023. Outside of Career Counseling, Dr. Tarleton works as a youth swim coach to 6, 7, and 8-year-olds at the University of Denver. Career Counseling combines Dr. Tarleton’s passions in coaching and teaching. Dr. Tarleton loves working with the students of RVU because of their kind, collegial, and collaborative attitudes towards medicine.

Emir previously worked as a mental health therapist and pivoted to career advising and professional development. He is passionate about helping students navigate the sometimes ambiguous and sometimes confusing world of medical school and beyond. While it may be daunting and challenging, Emir believes in the spirit of RVU students to overcome hurdles. Emir looks forward to making connections and working with RVU students during their time here. He also loves to dance, read and listen to philosophical texts and lectures, and play video games. Emir is also an ardent lover of nature and conservation, having built an indoor aquaponics system that is home to an axolotl named Haku.
