The RVU Office of Institutional Planning and Assessment (IPA) leads, coordinates, and supports key institutional initiatives and projects related to examining, improving, and reporting on institutional effectiveness designed to ensure mission and strategic objectives. Specific responsibilities include strategic planning, institutional assessment, institutional research, and accreditation.

Strategic Planning

The Strategic Planning process includes the opportunity for contributions from all members of the RVU community on an ongoing basis. The RVU Strategic Plan is comprised of three pillars, Academics, Leadership, and Growth, that guide and support the achievement of our vision and mission objectives:

Institutional Assessment

The RVU Institutional Assessment Planning process reflects an ongoing investment in institutional effectiveness that includes student learning outcomes assessment, program evaluation, and institutional evaluation. RVU is committed to the success of each student and the IPA Office supports this commitment by establishing performance indicators, measuring outcomes, and reporting back to key decision-makers in order to make improvements to the curriculum, instruction, and infrastructure of the University.
