Every year, Rocky Vista University holds a White Coat Ceremony for each campus. The White Coat Ceremony is a medical school tradition that welcomes new students into the medical profession. Upon being coated (the act of officially receiving their medical school white coats) by physician faculty members, the students are led by fellow classmates in reciting the vision statement that they, as a class, have written to express their goals and values for the next four years at RVUCOM.
