PROGRAMS AND DEGREES

The College of Osteopathic Medicine at Rocky Vista University consists of four years of full-time academic and clinical programs. The first two years comprise preclinical studies on campus integrating case-based learning followed by two years of clinical education.

Rocky Vista University's PA Program is taught utilizing the competency-based medical education model. In the first two semesters (Didactic Phase) the learner will move from foundational concepts to clinically oriented content. The subsequent five semesters (Clinical Phase) are dedicated to advancing the student to the level of "competent" for all thirteen entrustable professional activities.

The Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences is a 9-month (30 semester hour) degree program. The program provides an opportunity for students with diverse backgrounds and life experience to strengthen their educational foundation in the biomedical sciences, cultivate critical thinking skills, and prepare for careers in the health sciences.
