Spring Community Health Fair
This is a springtime event that encourages the citizens of Ivins to focus on their health. RVU students offer such services as vital screenings and demonstrations on OMM, ultrasound, and breast self-exams. They also offer information on sugar intake, mental wellness, and the opioid crisis.
Health Fair
Rocky Vista University (RVU) hosts an annual Health Fair in the Fall. This Health Fair is put on by the RVU student clubs and organizations (and approved by staff physicians). Families and people of all ages can participate.
Fall Festival
Every October, RVU hosts a Fall Festival for families in the surrounding community. This is a fun event full of healthy, interactive wellness games hosted by the RVUCOM-SU clubs, live music by local artists and a costume contest. Recently, RVUCOM-SU has joined efforts with Red Rock Running Events to provide a BOO DASH, trick-or-treat 5K race – a SPOOKTACULAR experience for all!
Military Appreciation Ceremony
Veterans and their families are invited to attend the annual Military Appreciation Ceremony at the Southern Utah Veterans Home. Each year, a distinguished military officer is invited to give the keynote address.
Open Houses
Interested in our campus programs? Tour the RVU campus during an Open House and meet with students and faculty, talk with an admissions representative, and learn the benefits of all the program we have available! Find out more about upcoming campus events here.
Ivins Heritage Days
Students represent RVU in the city-wide parade and volunteer at the Blood Pressure Booth. This is a great event to bring the community together.
