Dear RVU Employees,

RVU is committed to keeping the members of its community safe and to abide by the guidelines issued by the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Therefore, in consultation with the COVID-19 Response Team, the decision has been made that all employees aside from the few listed on the essential personnel list who absolutely must have physical to access to the campus, will be expected to work remotely and will no longer have access to the building until further notification. This will go into effect at 12:01 AM Monday, March 23, 2020.

In order to maintain our support for the faculty to continue curricular delivery by definition Rocky Vista is not closed nor do we plan to suspend all the important functions and deadlines necessary to keep us on target for accreditation, budget submissions and the many unfinished projects we all have on our to do list. We are grateful to our outstanding IT Team to have the ability to extend our workspace and not have to shut down operations as we are seeing in many other sectors of the economy.

If you have not already done so, please ensure that you have access to everything that you need to effectively work from home. Take a moment to review the guidelines sent out on Tuesday regarding teleworking options and the Temporary HR Policy Guidelines Related to COVID-19 and address any questions to the designated resources or your supervisor.
