Educational Program on Osteopathic Medicine
In 2022, Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine (RVUCOM), created an online training program designed to help all university employees learn more about osteopathic medicine. We recognize that the institutional culture where students complete training may impact their professional identity and practice habits related to osteopathic manipulative treatment, and we wanted make all of our employees aware of the distinctiveness of osteopathic medical practice. To date, we have had 277 RVU employees complete this voluntary training and 101 employees who partially completed it.
We are excited to announce that we have updated this program and offer it for free to all of you and your colleagues in the osteopathic medical education community. This training is applicable for all employees of a COM or residency program, or any faculty and staff of a university that houses a COM. It is designed to be interactive with knowledge checks and reflection items for participant learning purposes only. Osteopathic physicians may receive up to 3 hours of AOA Category 1-B CME. You may come and go from the training at any time, and it will pick up where you left off. Anyone can access this online training for free here: Educational Program on Osteopathic Medicine
