Dear RVU Family,
We hope that everyone had a relaxing and enjoyable Thanksgiving. As expected after the holiday, COVID cases continue to surge. The Utah Department of Health reported a seven-day average of 2,611 new positive test results per day. The Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment (CDPHE) reported 4,133 new cases last week. Since our last email, RVU had 11 pre-clinical students, 10 clinical students, and 2 employees test positive for COVID-19, with 5 students still awaiting their test results. Now more than ever, it is critical that everyone remain extra vigilant.
