Match Day is one of the most anticipated milestones in a medical student’s journey. Each year in March, graduating students across the country learn where they will complete their residency training. At precisely the same time, thousands of envelopes are opened to reveal the next step in their medical careers—marking the culmination of years of hard work, dedication, and a little bit of nerves and excitement. It’s a celebration of achievement, opportunity, and the future of medicine.

I will be spending the next 4 years in Indianapolis training to become an anesthesiologist. I can’t believe my dream is now a reality. I have so many people who have supported me and helped me get to this point in my life, especially Maddy. How Did RVU Perform in the 2025 Match?
Rocky Vista University is proud to celebrate a 99% residency placement rate for the Class of 2025. Our students secured positions in 41 states across a wide range of specialties including dermatology, neurosurgery, general surgery, anesthesiology, urology, and pediatrics. More than half (52%) of our graduates matched into primary care, with 26% entering family medicine and 19% going into internal medicine.
