RVU’s Early Decision Program offers eligible applicants the opportunity to receive an early admissions decision, allowing them to plan their next steps with confidence. If Rocky Vista University’s Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree is your first choice; whether that is on the Colorado, Utah, or Montana campus; this is your chance to streamline the process and focus on preparing for your future.
How It Works:
- Submit your verified application by July 15 and opt in for “Early Decision” consideration.
- If you meet the program requirements, opt-in, and are selected for the program, you may receive:
- A waived interview and an admissions decision by August 15.
- Or an interview invite by August 1 with an admissions decision by September 15.
- Applicants who are not selected for the Early Decision Program will be reviewed for our regular admission cycle.
- The Early Decision Program may be limited to the approved class size capacity on each campus.
- Accepted students must confirm their seat and pay the non-refundable deposit within 30 days.

Our Utah campus is located in Ivins, UT, approximately 15 minutes from downtown St. George. The City of Ivins is a known as beneath the Big Red Mountain, which is where the campus is located. The weather is beautiful and sunny most of the year which makes it a great place for outdoor recreation, hiking, boating, camping, kayaking to name a few. There are several National Parks which are close to the campus; Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, and Grand Canyon National Park.
