Bio

Dr. Ben Wilde, D.O. is an AOBFP board-certified osteopathic family physician, a fellow of the AAFP, and a 2008 graduate of Midwestern University—AZCOM. Following his residency training with Southern Illinois University, he practiced full-scope rural family medicine in northern Wyoming, which included in-patient care, and sports medicine. In 2017, Dr. Wilde became one of the inaugural faculty at RVUCOM-Southern Utah campus and served there as Vice Chair in the Department of Primary Care Medicine. Currently, Dr. Wilde is thrilled to have “returned home” to help establish MCOM and to be a part of its success by serving as MCOM’s Chair of the Department of Clinical Sciences. Dr. Wilde continues his clinical practice locally and leadership at the state and national level as the president-elect of the ACOFP-Mountain West Regional Society and as a national faculty of the NBOME. Personally, family is important to Dr. Wilde. He and his wife homeschool their five children and also teach parenting classes in their community.
