Dr. Jacqueline Woodrum grew up in Kansas, attended undergrad at Pittsburg State University.  Prior to medical school, she and her husband traveled throughout Europe with the Army. She obtained a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. She is board certified in Family Medicine and obtained further certification in Global Medicine through Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. 

As a Medical Director, Dr. Woodrum founded and operated 2 successful multi-physician private Family Medicine offices in Westminster, Colorado. After selling her private practice, she traveled extensively providing expertise in multiple specialties, including Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Geriatrics, Wellness, Women’s Health, Functional Medicine, Urgent Care, Occupational Medicine, Indian Health and Military Service.

She founded and was proprietor of Cafe Isabel, a restaurant with a non-profit arm to financially support the local Colorado community, and to support international aid work in Africa. She was instrumental in development of healthcare infrastructure for a multi-village treatment program for schistosomiasis. In recognition of her outstanding volunteer work and service, she was awarded the 2010 Harold E. Williamson Humanitarian Award by the COPIC Medical Foundation.

Dr. Woodrum maintains a strong passion for global health and dedicates significant time to precepting students, while serving as a volunteer physician. In 2012, she was recognized as the Colorado Osteopathic Physician of the Year by the Colorado Osteopathic Medical Society. She takes part in hands-on medical missions, providing care in underserved rural communities throughout Kenya, Tanzania, Nicaragua, Ecuador, Paraguay, and the Galapagos Islands.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Woodrum enjoys architecture, fashion, and compost gardening.  She has 2 adult children.  Her son is a Water Conservationist in the Colorado mountains, and her daughter works for a Project CURE, medical nonprofit.
