Jacquelyn Waller, PharmD, BCPS, is an Associate Professor of Pharmacology and Director of Preclinical Education at Rocky Vista University Montana College of Osteopathic Medicine. She earned her Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Montana and completed her residency at the Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center and Children’s Hospital in Spokane, Washington. As a resident, Dr. Waller gained clinical experience with rotations in antimicrobial stewardship, pediatrics, internal medicine, critical care, transplant, and cardiology. She also held an adjunct faculty position at the Washington State University School of Pharmacy where she lectured in therapeutics and led small group case presentations. In addition to serving as a full-time faculty member at Rocky Vista University, Dr. Waller is a board-certified pharmacotherapy specialist and has assisted in clinical trial coordination at the Rocky Vista Health Center. Her current research interests include medical education, alternative products, and parental leave policies in United States medical schools. In her spare time, she loves to be outdoors skiing, hiking, running, and camping.
