James Little, DVM, MBA

Dr. Little was born and raised in Tennessee. He attended veterinary school at the
University of Tennessee in Knoxville. After graduation, Dr. Little spent 13 years in large and
mixed animal practice, eight of which he owned a rural large and mixed animal practice.
Dr. Little eventually transitioned to the veterinary pharmaceutical industry where he served
as a field-based technical services veterinarian and a regional business manager for
equine and cattle products. Dr. Little started his academia career at Lincoln Memorial
University College of Veterinary Medicine serving as a clinical relations veterinarian and
quality assurance professional for the clinical year of the distributed model veterinary
program. He also completed his Master of Business Administration degree with a
concentration in strategic management while at LMU. Currently Dr. Little serves as the
Assistant Dean for Clinical Education at the Rocky Vista University College of Veterinary
Medicine in Billings, Montana. For hobbies, Dr. Little enjoys spending time outdoors with
his dogs, dabbling in golf, and aspires to spend more time fishing.
