Dr. Moore earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Naval Academy and his Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from Nova Southeastern University. He also holds a Master of Public Health degree from the University of West Florida. He completed residencies in both Family Medicine and Aerospace Medicine while serving on active duty in the U.S. Navy. Dr. Moore is board certified in Family Medicine and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
During his military career with the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps, Dr. Moore had the privilege of caring for service members from all branches—both in peacetime and combat—as well as their families. Following his retirement from the Navy, he helped establish an integrated primary care and behavioral health clinic in Springfield, Oregon, before joining the faculty at Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences. There, he served as Chair of the Department of Family Medicine and Osteopathic Principles and Practice.
Dr. Moore later joined Rocky Vista University, where he served as Assistant Dean of Preclinical Education for the Montana College of Osteopathic Medicine (MCOM) and as Program Director for the Master of Medical Sciences program. He now serves as Dean of MCOM.
