Juliemar was born in Puerto Rico and spent much of her childhood in Colorado. After living in Utah for the past five years, she recently returned to Colorado, where she enjoys the outdoors and the beautiful scenery surrounding Pikes Peak.
Juliemar’s professional background includes clinical research, where she developed expertise in project management and program coordination. Her experience spans both academic and hospital-based settings, and she has worked extensively with students, faculty, and healthcare professionals in higher education.
She is excited to be part of RVU and is passionate about advancing medicine by helping students pursue unique educational opportunities. “What I really appreciate about RVU is that it provides students with pathways, such as our Tracks and Special Programs, that expand their learning beyond a traditional medical education.” She enjoys supporting students, colleagues, and programs that create meaningful opportunities for growth, professional development, and success.
Outside of work, Juliemar enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with her dog, Gluteus Maximus or Glute for short. She also makes annual trips to Puerto Rico to stay connected to the island, its culture, and her family roots.
