Dr. Thomas N. Told entered his 50th year as a practicing physician in 2024, having spent most of that time as a rural Family Physician in Northwest Colorado where he trained generations of medical students and residents from medical schools all across the nation. He is a 1973 graduate of AT Still University Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and is currently Emeritus Dean and a Clinical Consultant for Rocky Vista University’s Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine. He joined the university in 2009 and helped establish the college of osteopathic medicine’s initial clinical curriculum, including the Rural and Wilderness Track which was the forerunner of the expanded special interest tracks system in use today. Dr. Told’s experience as a post-graduate clinical educator, former RVUCOM Dean, RVU Vice-president of Academic Affairs, a nationally recognized leader in Osteopathic Family Medicine allows him to utilize that experience to help students prepare for the residency selection process and manage clinical rotations in Utah. Dr. Told presently divides his time between his homes in Southern Utah, and Northwest Colorado with his wife Mollie of 59 years and his 5 grandsons, 5 granddaughters, and 4 great granddaughters.
